The conference includedthe third part of the 16th session of the Ad Hoc Working Groupon Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the KyotoProtocol (AWG-KP) and the third part of the 14th session ofthe Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Actionunder the Convention (AWG-LCA). The conference drewapproximately 1,836 participants.
