Fully funded 3-year PhD Studentship at the University of Exeter Centre for Water Systems: Flood impacts on the built environment, traffic and public health in coastal cities Within the EU FP7 funded project PEARL (Preparing for Extreme And Rare events in coastaL regions) that starts in January 2014 this PhD will develop, enhance and apply advanced tools for assessment of flood impacts on the built environment, traffic and public health in coastal cities.
These tools are based on coupling of hydraulic models with other types of models that describe damage, car traffic, transport of pollutants, exposure etc. for various scenarios.
