The KWIP provides access to the best water data available, in one place, and in a user-friendly format:

  • Official UN-Water indicators for a selected country
  • World rankings for any UN-Water indicator
  • Simple maps and graphs based on indicators
  • Up-to-date data
  • Additional informative layers and general country information
  • Information from various sources combined and made available in one place
  • Details and links to reporting agencies one click away

The KWIP is backed by a federated database containing data from several UN agencies under the UN-Water Federated Water Monitoring System. It is implemented by AQUASTAT of FAO.
