Call for candidature for the King Hassan II Great World Water Prize / Appel à candidatures – Grand Prix mondial Hassan II pour l’eau

The Government of Morocco and the World Water Council are launching the call for candidatures for the 4th edition of the King Hassan II Great World Water Prize.

 Organised every three years in conjunction with the World Water Forum, the Prize is awarded to an institution, an organisation, an individual or a group of individuals in honour of their outstanding contribution to the development and use of water resources, in any aspect such as scientific, economic, technical, environmental, social, institutional, cultural or political.

 With the full nomination file, candidates should provide the completed application form, which can be found on the WWC website, and return all materials no later than 31 August 2011. The winner will be invited to the Prize ceremony in Marseille at the opening of the 6th World Water Forum. He or she will receive a sum of US$100,000, accompanied by a trophy and a certificate.

Appel à candidatures – Grand Prix mondial Hassan II pour l’eau

 Le Gouvernement du Royaume du Maroc et le Conseil mondial de l’eau lancent l’appel à candidature pour la 4ème édition du Grand Prix mondial Hassan II pour l’eau.

 Organisé tous les trois ans à l’occasion du Forum mondial de l’eau, le prix récompense une personne, un groupe de personnes, une institution ou une organisation ayant contribué de manière significative au développement et à une meilleure utilisation des ressources en eau, au niveau tant scientifique qu’économique, technique, environnemental, social, institutionnel, culturel ou politique.

 Les candidats doivent télécharger le bulletin de candidature sur le site du Conseil mondial de l’eau, et renvoyer le dossier complet avant le 31 août 2011. Le lauréat sera invité à Marseille pour la cérémonie de remise des prix à l’ouverture du 6ème Forum mondial de l’eau, ou il recevra un chèque de 100.000$, accompagné d'un trophée et d'un certificat.
