King Hassan II Great World Water Prize / Grand Prix mondial Hassan II pour l'eau

The candidature process for the 3rd edition of the King Hassan II Great World Water Prize is open until 15 October 2008.

The Prize is awarded to an institution, organization, individual or group of individuals in honor of outstanding achievements in any aspects of water resources such as scientific, economic, technical, environmental, social, institutional, cultural or political. The theme for the Prize is "Cooperation and solidarity in the fields of management and development in water resources." The third edition of the King Hassan II Great World Water Prize will be held in Istanbul in March 2009 during the 5th World Water Forum. Les candidatures pour la troisième édition du Grand Prix mondial Hassan II pour l'eau sont ouvertes jusqu'au 15 octobre 2008.

Le Prix, d'un montant de 100 000 USD, est attribué à une personne, groupe de personnes, institution ou organisation ayant accompli une importante contribution dans les domaines du développement et de l'utilisation des ressources en eau, au niveau tant scientifique qu'économique, technique, environnemental, social, institutionnel, culturel ou politique.Le thème du Prix est :''Coopération et solidarité dans les domaines de la gestion et du développement des ressources en eau''.La prochaine édition du Grand Prix mondial Hassan II pour l'eau se tiendra à Istanbul, en mars 2009, pour le 5ème Forum mondial de l'eau.
