Webstreaming of EU Water Conference 22 and 23 March 2007
The European Commission's Environment Directorate-General in cooperation with the Joint Research Centre, Eurostat and the European Environment Agency is organising the European Water Conference 2007 on 22-23 March in Brussels. At this conference the Water Information System for Europe (WISE) will be launched. It will also be an occasion for the Environment Commissioner Stavros Dimas to present the first implementation report of the Water Framework Directive.
This conference will be webstreamed: people who are unable to attend the conference in Brussels will be able to follow it via the internet in real time (in English, French and German). The speakers and their presentations will be visible on the screen; in the afternoon of both conference days viewers will also be able to chat with the conference organisers and other viewers as well as submit questions or comments to the panelists.
It will also be possible to watch the conference later (until March 2008). On-line assistance and a helpdesk are available (see upper right corner of the screen).
