As part of a consortium, Veolia Water winsthe design & build contract to provide an effluent treatment plant for the Pearl GTL complex in Qatar. Qatar Shell GTL Limited has awarded the design-build contract forthe Pearl GTL complex effluent treatment plant to a consortium formed from a 50/50 joint venturebetween Veolia Water and Saïpem and a local construction company, Al Jaber. The project issituated in Ras Laffan Industrial City, in north-east Qatar, 85km from the capital city of Doha.
