Vacancy in UNESCO-IHE: Professor in Hydroinformatics
The professor will lead the Hydroinformatics scientific core group in different activities related to education, research and capacity building projects within the international field and context of operation at UNESCO-IHE. The integrative character of Hydroinformatics requires the new professor to maintain close collaboration with the Professor of Environmental Hydroinformatics and the Professor of Capacity Building (both in the HIKM department) as well as with other UNESCO-IHE professors (in Hydrology, Hydraulic Engineering, etc.). The candidate requires a special appointment (0-nomination) at a Dutch university, most likely Delft University of Technology, and must therefore meet the corresponding academic standards. The position is based in Delft , The Netherlands. A competitive salary is offered depending on qualifications and experience in accordance with the conditions of employment for Dutch Universities.
