MARCOAST service Portal online

Since October 2006, the MARCOAST Portal has been online. It provides services such as oil spill surveillance and forecast, water quality monitoring and alert services, harmful algae bloom monitoring evolution and forecasting services as well as water quality assessment. MARCOAST (Marine and Coastal Environmental Information Services) is a three year GMES project funded by the European Space Agency aimed at establishing a durable network of marine and coastal information services.
