Enforcing regulations in the water sector: the necessity and functions of a water law enforcement

INBO is organising this webinar in partnership with other institutions and organisations: OFB (French Office for Biodiversity), NANDO (North-American Network of Basin Organisations), MENBO (Mediterranean Network of Basin Organisations), the Spanish Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (MITERD), the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of China, and the Group of Basin Organisations of Quebec (ROBVQ).

In order to participate in the seminar, it is compulsory to register through the following link: Registration link. The draft Agenda of the Webinar is already posted in the following INBO Website: Webinar Enforcing Water Laws.

Importantly, this seminar offers simultaneous interpretation as follows: only English-French for its morning session, and only Spanish-French in its afternoon session.

The outputs of the webinar will also feed into the preparation of a methodological and practical handbook on the organization of water law enforcement, or “Water Police”. The handbook will be published on the occasion of the World Water Forum in March 2022. It will then join the series of handbooks produced annually by INBO and that you can consult in its website (INBO Documents).
