19th ANNUAL BIOECON CONFERENCE "Evidence-based environmental policies and the optimal management of natural resources"

The BIOECON Partners annouced the Nineteenth Annual International BIOECON conference.

The conference will provide a platform for the dissemination of high-quality research on the economics of environmental protection and biodiversity conservation. But it will also serve as an opportunity to mark Aart de Zeeuw’s retirement as Professor of Environmental Economics at Tilburg University. To honor his academic work and contributions to the science and policy of environmental economics, BIOECON 19 will pay special attention to the theme of “Evidence-based environmental policies and the optimal management of natural resources”.

The conference will be held at Tilburg University, the Netherlands, between the 20th – 22nd September 2017. BIOECON 19 will be of interest to both researchers and policy makers working on issues in the area of biodiversity, ecosystem services, and sustainable development, in both developed and developing countries.
