European Geosciences Union Media at General Assembly 2016

The EGU 2016 General Assembly, the largest geosciences meeting in Europe, brings together thousands of geoscientists from all over the world into one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary and space sciences. It provides an opportunity for journalists and science writers to learn about new developments in a variety of topics, including climate change, recent space and planetary science missions, natural disasters, raw materials, ice loss and sea-level rise, and to talk to researchers.

The 2016 Assembly is taking place at the Austria Center Vienna in Vienna, Austria, from 17 to 22 April under the theme Active Planet. Media registration to the meeting is available to journalists, freelance science writers and public information officers of all nations free of charge.
