3rd International Water conference (CI.EAU2013)
Access for all to drinking water and sanitation is a crucial objective. This scientific and technical meeting will group participants from countries of North Africa and North Mediterranean to discuss issues of water and their impacts on sustainable development of the region.
This conference is a new opportunity to dialogue and share different experiences and research results in science as well as in management. One of the main objectives of this meeting is to initiate regional and Mediterranean cooperation initiatives. Reconciliation between the rarity, quality and sustainability of water resources is a permanent objective to achieve. Technical and managerial performances of managing water, good management and good governance of water resources are the key to development of any country. Water desalination, treatment and valorization of wastewater, delegated management, are proving to be a necessity. The quantitative and qualitative assessments of water resources seem inconceivable today without the use of performance indicators.
Research Laboratory of Water Sciences (RLS-WATER) of National Polytechnic School (Alger) is pleased to invite you to participate in the International Conference on water resources (IC-WATER) that will be hold on 18th, and 19th November 2013 in Algiers. This international conference is the third one organized by the RLS-WATER/NPS after the 2005 and 2008 held in Algiers. It will be organized with the assistance of the UISFUATI/ UNESCO (Sciences and Techniques for Development in the Maghreb Group-STDM) and the collaboration of Algerian research organisms (DGRST, CRSTRA, ATRST,..), national, public and private companies (SEAAL, SEOR ; ABH, CIMET-SPA, …), and scientific associations (ADEP ; ..).
This conference will also aim to encourage the establishment of a national network along with a Maghreb network of experts in water resources and development of bilateral and multilateral research projects.
