Launch of the “Space for Med” Initiative
The organizers invite you to the launch of the Space for Med Initiative, a joint undertaking by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Investment Bank (EIB), on 23rd November 2012, at the Casa Llotja de Mar, Barcelona, Spain.
This event is organised by ESA, EIB, and the Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Mediterranean (ASCAME), in the context of the 6th Mediterranean Week of Economic Leaders (programme attached). It will provide a unique opportunity to meet with service providers and developers, as well as end-users and relevant user organisations. Together we will bring forward needs and ideas in the information technologies and communication sector that can benefit from space-based technologies, focusing on infrastructure projects in the Southern Mediterranean.
