CFA: Regional Expert Workshop on Water losses management in water supply systems
This EXCEED Regional Expert Workshop aims at showing the various dimensions of regional water losses as well as different approaches to the problem.
Reducing and controlling water losses is becoming more crucial as demand increases in many parts of the world. Reducing water losses saves energy and reduces the expenses for water supply systems and contributes to sustainable water management.
The event consists of lectures and discussions focusing on water losses within Middle East water supply systems. It addresses academics, water engineers and experts, technical and administrative personnel of water utilities and relevant ministries in partner countries of EXCEED in the Middle East region.

COST COVERAGE FOR EXCEED EXCHANGE STUDENTS
SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships for short term internships (3 to 6 months) are available:
- For students from developing countries (see DAC list) coming to TU Braunschweig:
- 750 Euro per month for MSc Students
- 1.000 Euro per month for PhD Students
- Flight costs are covered
- For students from TU Braunschweig going to the EXCEED Partner Universities:
- 400 Euro per month for MSc Students
- 500 Euro per month for PhD Students
- Flight costs are covered
- For South-South-Exchange among the EXCEED Partner Universities
- 400 Euro per month for MSc Students
- 500 Euro per month for PhD Students
- Flight costs are covered
SUMMER SCHOOLS AND REGIONAL WORKSHOPS / REGIONAL TRAINING COURSES / EXPERT SEMINARS
- Arrangement and funding of flights through the event organizer
(no reimbursement of personal travel expenses or coverage of cancellation fees) - Coverage of visa costs up to an amount of 60 Euro (original receipt necessary)
- Hotel accommodation through the event organizer
