Expert workshop ”Socio-economic cost-benefit analysis in accordance with the European Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD): A methodological approach for assessing the benefits of measures”
The workshop is part of the research-project ”Methodological basis for socio-economic analyses and assessment of the impact of measures including cost-benefit analysis in accordance with European Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) (FKZ 3710 25 202)“. The project is coordinated by InterSuS Sustainability Services on behalf of the German Federal Environment Agency.
The workshop will address the interim results of the project on the application of benefit analyses of maritime related measures, the proposed methodological approach on assessing benefits of measures and its planned application within two case studies, e.g. eutrophication. European and German marine experts from science, authorities and stakeholders are invited to discuss the interim results and share experiences and perspectives.
Participation is free of charge. However registration is necessary since space is limited. There will be a charge for lunch (about 15 €). Participants arriving the evening before the event can attend a joint dinner. The final programme will be set in October. Translation (English / German) will be provided.
