Workshop on innovative technologies on wastewater treatment and reuse

The Hassan II Institute of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine will organize during the period of May 6th to 8th 2010, in collaboration with the European Union, the above mentioned workshop in the city of Marrakech - Morocco.

This workshop, which anticipates the presence of approximately 100 participants and of 30 invited speakers and experts that will deal with the following subjects:

- Wastewater management and water resources management
- Innovative water treatment technologies; development and application.
- Re-use of treated effluents for irrigation practices, and sludge use in agriculture
- Socio-economic, legal/regulatory, technical, and environmental barriers of the re-use of reclaimed water and sludge
- Fate and analysis of micro- contaminants in wastewater treatment processes.
