Towards new methods to manage nitrate pollution within the Water Framework Directive
LIFE project "Improved management of nitrate pollution in water using isotopic monitoring" (LIFE06 ENV/F/000158) is organising a two day workshop at the UNESCO in Paris. The main aims of the worshop are to present and evaluate innovative techniques that manage nitrate pollution in the framework of the WFD and demonstrate the added value of isotope techniques and their potential applications and limits for nitrate pollution control.
The events also aims to:
* Address the mainstream and innovative scientific approaches in nitrate monitoring ;
* Present and discuss alternative methods in supporting stakeholders in managing nitrate pollution;
* Facilitate knowledge transfer between scientists and water stakeholders.
