12th International Living Lakes Conference

The 12th International Living Lakes Conference at Lake Trasimeno in Italy. This international Living Lakes Conference will take place between 21st and 28th of September under the headline „Linking Cultural Landscape Values to Lake Protection ”. On this occasion, the Living Lakes 10th anniversary will be celebrated.

In addition, the Second International Strategy Meeting "Lakes and Wetlands" will be organised at Lake Geneva in close collaboration with Ramsar and IUCN in November 2008. GNF has signed MoUs with the Ramsar Bureau and UNEP/CMS as well as other institutions and Conventions.
