International Conference: The New Member States in the FP7 Space Theme

In addition to an outline of the most recent development in GMES and space technology, contents of the European Commission 7th Framework Programme Space Call are to be presented in the course of the spring Conference in Warsaw.

The event aims to facilitate establishment of working contacts between researchers and entrepreneurs from Central and Eastern European countries and Western Europe, thus strengthening European space cooperation. Welcome are above all participants interested in actively contributing to the consortia preparing projects in the currently open the FP7 Space Call, as well as those looking for partners in the FP7 framework.

In addition, a dedicated session for Small and Medium sized Enterprises will outline possibilities to join various GMES consortia in the FP7. During the Conference the contents of the FP7 Space Call will be presented and European experts will outline the most recent development in the GMES and in space technologies. The event should facilitate establishing working contacts between researchers and entrepreneurs from Western Europe and those from Central and South-Eastern European countries, thus strengthening European space cooperation. Especially welcome are the participants interested in active contribution to the consortia that prepare projects in the currently open the FP7 Space Call as well as those who intend to find partners for the FP7 proposals drafted by them.
