WFD Lille 2007 - Chemical Status Monitoring of Aquatic Ecosystems in the Context of the Water Framework Directive
The conference will review chemical status monitoring of aquatic ecosystems
in the context of the Water Framework Directive (WFD). There will be one
policy session (covering ecological status and chemical monitoring of the
Common Implementation Strategy of the WFD), one science session (with input
from SWIFT, REBECCA and BRIDGE project co-ordinators), and one industrial
session (covering industrial perspectives).
The international event will be timely to share information on
science-policy interactions related to chemical/ecological water monitoring,
and will bring together key factors from the water sector, all in the light
of the 2006-2007 milestone.
