Workshop on Transboundary Water Cooperation

The objective of the workshop is to identify ways forward in which transboundary water cooperation can be improved. The workshop will focus on two key challenges in governance arrangements in three major river basins:

The level of national commitment to transboundary water cooperation
The level of stakeholder involvement.

Based on comparative analyses and the outcome of two workgroup sessions, the workshop will draw up lessons learnt and identify ways forward for addressing these key challenges in transboundary water cooperation.
