Third Euro-Mediterranean Sustainable Development Forum – ECO MEDA FORUM 2007: Working together for Sustainability

This Forum, under the slogan “Common value, shared costs”, is celebrated on the 27th and 28th of February 2007 within the framework of the Ecocity Exhibition in Barcelona. The Third Euro-Mediterranean Sustainable Development Forum follows the two previous editions which brought together the international stakeholders, representatives of the public and private sector, experts and businessmen of the Euro-Mediterranean region in the field of sustainable development; reaching the presence of more than 500 enterprises and institutions and achieving more than 300 b2b meetings.

The ECO MEDA FORUM 2007 will debate new interesting themes related to the sustainable development such as the 2020 Vision, to strengthen the alliance enterprises – cities (main actors of the new environmental policies), the analysis of alternative energies, the climate change, the solutions to reduce the CO2 emissions and the new challenges that pose the shortage of water. Moreover this forum will try to point out the economic advantages and the business opportunities for the enterprises adopting the sustainable management.
