Deserts and desertification conference

Sebha University cordially invites research specialists with topics related to desert and desertification to participate with their research, studies and experiences in this conference, according to the following topics:

1. effects of climate changes on desert ecosystems;
2. desert environment administration and the risk of desertification;
3. renewable energy and other techniques and their role in controlling desertification;
4. remote sensing techniques and their role in providing control program for desertification;
5. natural resources and their role for the development of desert communities and awareness of the risk of their uncontrolled usage;
6. ground water as one of the vital resources and risk of its uncontrolled usage in desert regions;
7. desertification in Libya and other countries; and 
8. efforts and experiences of Libya and other countries in controlling desertification.
