EIB FORUM 2006: South-East Europe - A Region on the Move
The conference is designed to bring together representatives from the
government, banks and financial institutions, as well as the international
media. Participation upon invitation only. Building on the great success of
previous Fora, this conference will bring together some 400 representatives
from government and political circles, business and banking sectors, as well
as the international media, to create an interactive forum for discussion
and debate of the pertinent issues facing the region. The 2006 EIB Forum
will look into how political and economic integration in the region may be
strengthened in order to enjoy stability and growth, democracy and
prosperity. It will also discuss the best ways for the EU to provide a new
momentum to this process, and the role political leaders and business
communities in the region must play to lead the way towards regional
cooperation and European integration.
