Maroua Oueslati

Information & Project Manager

Maroua OUESLATI holds a MSc in agriculture and territories from CIHEAM Montpellier in France and an engineering degree in natural resources management. She has been working for over 5 years on water use efficiency and water policies, with a focus on the agriculture sector. Besides, Maroua joined SEMIDE in 2015 as Information & project manager, where it includes her participation to many water-related development projects in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
In 2014, Maoua worked at the UfM secretariat in Water & Environment Division. Her role involved handling a regional project of 9M euros where it included preparing a technical report in order to fund the “Mediterranean water information platform”. In addition to that, back in 2013, she worked for a development project with ESA Mograne, Tunisia and CRDI Canada in the agriculture sector in Tunisia that allowed her having a solid knowledge on virtual water and food security.
